Our Thinking Caps

We recently completed our Thinking Cap project in 3D. Each boy created a "cap" with visual reminders to help him with his thinking.  I was so impressed with all of the creative ideas!  If you have a Voicethread  account, we would love to hear your comments.  If you don't have an account, you can post them here.

Great idea!

I teach 2nd grade and a lot of my students are transitioning from beginning readers to more independent readers, yet they haven't realized they need to be thinking more about what they are reading.

We are doing mini-lessons on comprehension and I could see myself do this in a few weeks to summarize what we have talked about.

I think it will help us think about our own thinking. It will help us remember to think.

I thought it was awesome!!!!! It helped me learned about my own thinking. In the future it will help me think better, and help me in fourth grade.

What I learned when I did my thinking cap was I really went down in my brain and dug out how I really think.

By doing this project I realized that I have many ways that I think. This could help us in the future when we're trying to come up with a writing ideas by reminding us of the ways that we think.
