National Punctuation Day

Did you know that today is National Punctuation Day? I had no idea until I saw it on Twitter today! You can see on the website above that schools all over the globe are celebrating this new "holiday" (founded in 2004). What does it mean when something or someone has a day dedicated to it? How could we have celebrated National Punctuation Day today? Why is punctuation important to you?

When somebody dedicates a entire day to you, it means to me that you have done something good for your country or a historical day for your country; like the Fourth of July. We could celebrate Punctuation Day by writing sentence about the period, question mark, ect. It's important to me because with out a punctuation because without it our writing would be confusing to read.
