I learned that things from the beginnning of time still survive in fossils today! MY favorite part was when we were in the creek and WE looked for inprintsin the rocks.
My favorite part was when we got to go to the creek becausue they all kinds of fossils there. I learned that your not going to find fossils by looking at the ground you have to scrape the leaves off and turn over the rock and see if its a fossil. Thank YOU for an awesome field trip.
My favorit part of being at the creek was seeing my fossils and other peoples rocks. I found a state fossil too! Our hole fourth grade had such a good time.
WE learned that one of the biggest sea animals (the Mozasaur) lived near the creek! WE also learned that the state fossil is called pterogonia thoracica. MY favorite part of Coon Creek was when WE looked for the fossils.
I learned about how to clean OUR fossils and how to clean them. WE also had a fun time in the creek and digging in the matrix. I bet the teachers had a fun time with us too.
I learned that YOU have to be very careful with fossils because THEY can brake eaisily like MINE :(. I also learned that every fossil has something special. MY favorite part was when we went into the creek.I LOVED COON CREEK :)
I learn that matrix has a lot of mineral.I like finding the fossil on the ground.I learn that MY shell I found was from a snail.I learn that a mosasaur can be over 55 feet! One of MY favorite part was cleaning the fossil.
